We divide works in to Saijo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku,and Regular Saku.
This piece is ranked as Jyojyo Saku for Mumei(Yamashiro Kami Kunikane).
Habaki: gold-plated single habaki

Era: the Edo period
Shape: Ubunakago, slightly wide and thick blade with deep curvature and long Kissaki.
Jigane: fine ad packed Masame hada
Hamon: Nie base thick nioikuchi Suguha with Niju-ba and Tobiyaki in Shinogi-ji. Boshi is rounded.
Features: Since the packed masame pattern, I believe this is a word from the late Edo period. The jigane and the hamon with nioikuchi making it an elegant piece. As you can see in the photos, there are spots of rust on the blade.
