Signature: Musashi ju Housho Fujiwara Muneharu.
武蔵住宝正藤原宗春
We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
This work is ranked as Jyojyo Saku for Muneharu.
Habaki: Silver single Habaki.
Blade length : 61.3 cm or 24.13 inches.
Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.24 cm or 1.27 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 2.13 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.74 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Edo period Meireki era.
Shape : The blade is thick and wide with nice sori and also longer kissaki which is attractive healthy shape.
Jitetsu :Itame hada and masame hada mix with jinie attach and also many chikei work along with masamehada.
Hamon : Nioideki gunome midare and cyoji midare hamon mixed.
There are many ashi, yo, sunagashi scatter in Ha
Special feature : Musashi ju Houshou Fujiwara Muneharu might be
Musashi daijyo Korekazu school.
His few subjects sword left because he helped his master for making swords.
So he doesn’t have plenty of times for making swords.
This blade is almost as same as Korekazu and Hata Toren.
The blade is healthy and fantastic work.
And the Koshirae is very nice Higo Koshirae.
Koshirae : Higo Koshirae
Saya : brown Ishimeji Saya.
Fuchi Kashira: Made with iron.
Menuki : On the Shakudo plate, deer horn Kamon (family crest)
are engraved with gold color Iroe.
Tsuba : On the iron round Tsuba, design of Futatsu-hiki is engraved in openwork.
And the rim is covered with Shakudo plate.
Kojiri : Made with Shakudo.
