We divide works in to Saijo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku,and Regular Saku.
This piece is ranked as Jyojyo Saku for Kanemoto.

Era: the late Muromachi period around 16th century
Shape: slightly thin blade with deep curvature.
Jigane: intense grain pattern with Itame, Mokume and flowing patterns.
Hamon: Ko-nie base pointed Funome
Features: The blade is beautifully carved well-balanced Katana and Koshirae is also good quality. The Jigane shows intricate pattens and beautiful. We recommend it.

Round-shaped iron tsuba with openwork carving of plum trees.
