Shape: A wide and thick blade with a robust form, featuring a bo-hi and a soe-hi carving.

Hamon: Nie-based with pointed gunome-midare, forming a subdued and calm hamon. The boshi is also well-forged.

Features: Kanetoki of Noshū Seki was a swordsmith active from the late Warring States period through the Azuchi-Momoyama to the early Edo period.
This piece has substantial weight and features impressive carvings of bo-hi and soe-hi.
It reflects the transition to the peaceful Edo era.
