Era: The Ouei era, the Muromachi period
Shape: The blade is slightly narrow, normally thick with slightly deep Sori. Ko-Kissaki has slightly Fukura. Well-shaped work. There is Bohi on the both sides.
Jigane: Dense Koitamehada, partially Masa flows.
Hamon: Gunome Midare from Hamachi, Choji comes in from the middle and becomes Midare. Whole Hamon has Utsuri. Boshi is Midarekomi and turns back in a small circle.
Special feature: Iesuke is one of the most famous swordsmiths of Ouei Bizen. The style of Ouei Bizen is a slim blade like this work, which is similar to the works from the Kamakura period. Most Hamon is Gunome Midare with Choji. In one theory, Iesuke is said to be a son of Morikage, Kozorimono swordsmith.
