Thickness of rim (Kasane): 0.57 cm (0.22 in)
Sword Weight: 145 grams
Era: Late Muromachi period (late 16th century)
Shape: A splendid Kenkaku-ryu (sword entwined with grass) is carved on the front, and a straight sword and Sanskrit characters are carved on the back.
Jigane: Finely forged Ko-itame-hada with visible shirake utsuri.
Hamon: Nie-based round Gunome-midare with Komaru-boshi, deeply turning back.

Features: Although unsigned, this piece is believed to have been created for religious purposes.
The intricate carving on the blade is truly outstanding.

Koshirae:
Black lacquered aikuchi style mounting with family crest.
