We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku, and Regular Saku.
This piece is ranked as Saijyo Saku (highest rank) among Mumei works attributed to Den Cho Aritoshi.

Features: Aritoshi was a swordsmith in Yamato from Taima school. It is said that the 1st generation was active in the late Kamakura period and 2nd generation was active in the early Nanbokucho period. This blade has bright jigane with complicated grain pattern.
