Shape: Broad blade with double grooves carved into the shinogi-ji, with a large kissaki.
Jigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada with clear and vivid surface appearance.
Hamon: Nie-based gunome-midare with active ko-ashi and ha activities. Kissaki also shows gunome-midare. Utsuri appears.
Features: Echizen Rai is said to be a descendant school of Echizen-Fuchu Chiyozuru Kuniyasu, who was a disciple of Rai Kuniyasu in Kyoto. This work features a long kissaki and a gunome hamon with long ashi.
