Shape: slightly wide and thick blade with little deep Sori and long kissaki.
Jigane: fine Ko-itame hada with random Utsuri.
Hamon: Nie-based thin suguha with rounded Boshi.
Features: Tagai school is one of 5 schoold in Yamato. Sue-tegai refers later works made after Ouei era. This piece has beautiful Jigane and random Utsuri shows its oldness. There are some cracks and dent in the blade.
Koshirae:
Tsuba: Round-shaped shakudo tsuba
Fuchikashira: a picture of a torn hat
Menuki: One side appears to depict Hotei, while the other side seems to depict a Shishi-dog.
