Higashiyama-jū Mitohei is believed to have belonged to the Umetada Myoju school.
Due to his popularity, there are many collectors, but very few pieces available on the market.
The shinogi-ji features itame mixed with mokume, giving it an aged appearance.
The nakago bears an inscription stating that this sword was commissioned by Masanari for his daughter Iwa.
We highly recommend considering both pieces together.
