The ancestry traces back to Sukezaemon, father of Nobukuni Shigenobu of Usa in Buzen.
He passed away on August 22, 1693 (Genroku 6).
Jigane: The blade is made in nie-deki style, with straight temper mixed with notare.
The nioiguchi is deep, resulting in a beautifully forged jigane.
Hamon: Nie-deki straight hamon with notare.
The nioiguchi is deep, and the boshi is rounded with a sweeping finish at the tip.
The blade is beautifully polished, exhibiting an attractive jigane.
With a length of 53.03 cm (20.88 in), it is considered a powerful and robust yari.
