Aoi Art’s Comment:After 1940 (Showa 15), many officers of lieutenant rank and above needed to carry swords, leading to the emergence of temporary swordsmiths who began producing Japanese swords.
This sword follows the same trend, with the character “昭” (Showa) engraved above the name Kanemune.
However, more than 70 years have passed since the war, and such pieces have become valuable historical materials.
For that reason, we recommend this sword.
