This work is ranked as Jyo Saku for Morifusa (Den Chiyozuru).

Shape: Standard width. The blade has two grooves and an additional line at the tip.
On the reverse side, a Soken (sacred sword) and Bonji (Sanskrit character) are engraved.
Jigane: Fine ko-itame hada, tightly forged with visible jinei.
Hamon: Nioi-deki gunome-midare mixed with small gunome-midare.
Features: Morifusa is a smith of the Chiyozuru school, active around the Meiō era.
The name “Chiyozuru” is said to originate from the childhood name “Chiyozurumaru” of Kuniyasu, the founder of the Echizen-based school.
The first-generation Kuniyasu followed the Rai tradition, later moving to Echizen (present-day Takefu City or Tsuruga City in Fukui Prefecture).
Signed works include those by Kuniyasu father and son, Morishige, Morihiro, and others.
