The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 69.0 cm or 27.16 inches.
Sori :2.6 cm or 1.02 inches.

Width at the hamachi :3.23 cm or 1.27 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.22 cm or 0.87 inches.
Kasane : 0.77 cm or 0.30 inches.
The weight of the sword : 875 grams.
Era : Edo period Tenpo 15. 1844
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful fine texture.
Hamon :Nie deki suguha from the Hamachi and then gunome midare with deep
nioilkuchi with ashi work. bo-shi is round shape.
Special feature: Suo Iwakuni Seiryushi Moriyoshi’s swords is famous because it is very sharp. He made swords with longer Nakago, log Ashi and deep Nioikuchi. This sword is looks same Chounsai Tsunatoshi and Koyama Munetsugu, a wonderful Tempo style sword. The sword is very heavy, Hamon is very beautiful and thick. We recommend this sword.
From Aoi Art : His real name is Iwamoto Kiyozaemon, lived in Yamaguchi province and made swords for Mori family. He was learn making sword from CHounsai Tsunatoshi. He also able to do carving and some of his sword has carving which was done by himself.
