Features:A work by the 2nd-generation Kawachi no Kami Kunisuke, showcasing a distinctive “Kenchōji” hamon pattern.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: A round iron tsuba with kozuka and kōgai compartments on both sides.
Fuchikashira: Shakudō nanako ground with plum blossoms in high relief, decorated with gold.
Kozuka: Shakudō nanako ground with autumn grass patterns in high relief, decorated with gold.
Kōgai: Shakudō nanako ground with autumn grass patterns in high relief, decorated with gold.
Saya: Black lacquered scabbard.
Menuki: Figures in high relief, decorated with gold.

Aoi Art’s Comment:The 2nd-generation Kawachi no Kami Kunisuke is called “Nakakawachi” as he is positioned between the 1st and 3rd generations.
Among the three generations, the 2nd-generation’s works are by far the most abundant.
The koshirae is also exceptionally well-made, making this an excellent piece to consider.
