The overall structure exhibits elegance and proportionality.
Jigane:Well-forged ko-itame hada, displaying a refined texture.
Hamon:A nioi-based gunome-midare, mixed with pointed gunome, with a lively nie structure.

Features:The name “Fujiwara Takada” refers to Takada-mono, a collective term for swords from the Takada school during the Shinto period.
This piece was authenticated as Fujiwara Takada by the NBTHK (Japanese Sword Museum) during the Hozon Token examination.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Round iron tsuba with a shishi (lion) and peony motif, decorated with gold nunome-zogan (textured inlay).
Fuchikashira: Shakudō with a noshi (ceremonial paper strips) motif, carved and decorated with gold inlay.
Saya (Scabbard): Glossy black lacquered saya.
Menuki: Dragon motif, carved and decorated with gold inlay.
