Shape:A wide blade with thick kasane, deeply curved.
Bo-hi and two narrow grooves (ni-suji-hi) are carved on both sides.
Features a mitsumune, an elongated boshi, and a well-balanced sugata.
Jigane:Well-forged ko-itame hada, densely packed with ji-nie.
Long kinsuji and sunagashi appear prominently.
Hamon:A vibrant nie-based Soshu-den hamon.
The boshi features intricate variations with multiple streaks, creating a dynamic and elegant appearance.
With time and further polishing, the jigane is expected to become even softer and more refined, enhancing its value.

Aoi Art’s Comment:Yūsui Shin Sadayoshi (湧水心貞吉) was born in Fukushima Prefecture in 1908.
He studied under Tsukiyama Sadakazu and Tsukiyama Sadaichi, winning numerous awards before achieving Mukansa status.
He was particularly skilled in forging Gassan-style hada, Bizen-den, and Soshu-den, producing exceptional works inspired by the Shizu and Koto traditions.
He passed away in 2000 at the age of 92.
This sword is modeled after a Masamune-style masterpiece.
The intricate hataraki within the hamon stands out exceptionally.
As it undergoes further polishing, its value is expected to increase significantly.
