Jigane: Koitame and Komokume with fine chikei and jinie.
Hamon: small gunoeme midare with fine nie making thick sunagashi and kinsuji. Nioikuchi is thick, soft and bright.

Features: Izumo Daijo Yoshitake was the son of Heianjo-ju Horikawa Kunitake of the Horikawa school, and later moved to Edo. He left behind a collaborative work made with Hojoji Masateru. Jigane with prominent grain and fine chikei and nie is regarded as a characteristic feature of the Horikawa school. In this particular work, the grain is especially tight and beautiful, while both the ji and ha are bright and clear.
