Shape: slightly carved blade tapering toward the tip.
Jigane: Koitame and Komokume with Jinie and fine chikei. Masa runs through Shinogi-ji.
Hamon: Notare with much nie making complicater patterns like ko-midare and ko-ashi and Yo.
Features: Echizen Daijo Fujiwara Kunitsugu was a swordsmith of the Yamashiro school and a student of Dewa Daijo Kunimichi. His workmanship closely resembles that of his master, and collaborative works by the two smiths are also known to exist.
Like Kunimichi’s works, this blade features a finely forged jigane with intricate chikei, combined with a notare hamon rich in nie.
