Featurre:
The Hōjōji school flourished during the mid Edo period and included many swordsmiths, producing a number of highly accomplished craftsmen. The first-generation Masahiro was active around the Kanbun era alongside renowned smiths such as Kotetsu and Yamato no Kami Yasusada, and is regarded as the finest swordsmith of the Hōjōji school.
