Features:
Hizen Kawachi Daijō Fujiwara Masahiro was a swordsmith of Hizen Province and a grandson of the first-generation Tadayoshi. He was highly favored by Nabeshima Katsushige, lord of the Nabeshima clan, and produced works in a variety of styles, most notably Sōshū-inspired midare hamon forged in nie-deki.
This blade features a hamon of rounded gunome-midare, while the jigane exhibits the finely forged, tightly knit texture that is characteristic of Hizen swords.
