Shape: Wide blade with bo-hi (groove) on both sides, deep curvature, and a broad tip.
Jigane: Fine ko-itame hada with beautiful Hizen grain, known as “konuka-hada.”
Hamon: Suguha style with small gunome-midare. It has small ashi, the boshi is rounded with irregularities and returns in ko-maru.
Features: Also known as Shinzaemonnojo. He inherited the name Tadahiro at the age of 19 after his father’s death in the 9th year of Kanei (1632). He received the title of Omi Daijo in the 18th year of Kanei (1641). Tadahiro continued producing swords for nearly 60 years, creating many masterpieces.
