This piece is ranked as Jyojyo Saku for Mumei(Sueseki).
Habaki: silver base with engraving of a flower vase and wild waves.
Blade length: 60.1 cm
Curvature: 1.7 cm
Number of mekugi-ana: 1
Width at base: 3.0 cm
Width at tip: 2.05 cm
Thickness: 0.56 cm
Blade weight: 555 g
Era: the late Muromachi period
Shape: Wakizashi with slight deep curvature.
Jigane: Ko-itame hada
Hamon: Ko-nie base quarish gunome and pointed gunome with ahi, yo and Sunagashi.
Features: This is a work from Seki, dating from the mid to late Muromachi period. The hamon is a typical Seki-style midareba, and appears bright. There are scratches overall, but polishing can be arranged for an additional 50,000 yen.
