We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
This work is ranked as Jyo Saku for an unsigned blade.
Habaki: Single-layered plain copper habaki

Era: late Edo period
Shape:slightly wide and thick blade with short kissaki.
Jigane: Itame hada with rough Jigane pattern. There are some flaws on the surface.
Hamon: Nie-deki Gunome midare, Gunome and slanting Gunome with Nie.
Features: This blade is judged as Shinshin-to Jumyo, made of Jumyo school in the late Edo period.
Koshirae: (NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho Tosogu)
Tsuba: flower-formed shakudo base tsuba
Fuchi: shakudonanako base with golden arabesque patterns.
Kashira: shakudo nanako base carved with a design of dry persimmons.
Menuki: a design of rice bale
Kozuka: Shakudo nanako base, high-relief carving of a phoenix.
Comes with a kogatana.
NBTHK Hozon Certificate, scheduled to be issued in late May.
