Shape: wide, thick blade with deep curvature.
Jigane: Koitame hada with Moku
Hamon: Nie deki Suguha and Notare with strong nie forming doubled hamon. Boshi is notare and rounded.

Features:
The Mishina school is a group of swordsmiths that began when the Seki smith Kanemichi moved to Kyoto accompanied by his four sons. The first-generation Rai Kinmichi was the second son of Kanemichi, and the name was passed down through four generations thereafter.

Era: the mid Edo period, around 1700
Shape: slightly carved blade with normal width. A unique carving of a kurikara (a dragon entwined around a sword) is engraved.
Jigane: Ko-itame and Ko-mokume hada with Ji nie
Hamon: Nie-base Suguha with thick nioikuchi.

Features:
The sixth generation of Hizen no Kuni Tadayoshi received the title of Ōmi no Kami in Kansei 2 (1790).
This work is bright, clear, and beautifully executed.
