Shinto：Chu-josaku：Owari province.
We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
This work is ranked as Jyo Saku for Hoki no kami Fujiwara Nobutaka.
Habaki:Gold and Shakudo foiled double Habaki.
Blade length : 54.2 cm or 21.33 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.25 cm or 1.27 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 2.15 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.79 cm or 0.31 inches.
Era :Early Edo period.about Kanbun era(about 1661),
Shape : Wide and thick Katana. On the Sashi-omote, dragon and Goddess of Kannon (Deity of Mercy) and Bonji are engraved.
On the Sashi-ura, lotus blossom and Tsume are engraved.
These engraving is very nice.
Jitetsu : Rather rough Itame hada with Jinie and Chikei attach.
Hamon : Around Hamachi is Suguha. And change to Gunome midare.
Nioikuchi is deep. There are much Ashi and Sunagashi and Kinsuji in Ha.
Boshi is Midarekomi style.
Habaki: Gold and Shakudo double Habaki.

Special feature : Owari province and Mino province were bordering.
Therefore many swordsmith in Mino province moved to Owari province.
They were called Owari-zeki.
Especially Sagami no kami Masatsune, and Hida no kami Ujifusa,
and Hoki no kami Nobutaka are famous sword smith in Owari-zeki.

Hoki no kami Fujiwara Nobutaka continued 10 generations from Keicho era to Keio era.
But this blade was made by Nobutaka in Kanbun era.
Engraving on blade is fantastic, and blade is nice condition without flaw.
