Shape: An o-suriage mumei wakizashi with substantial width and thickness.
The boshi is large and prominent.
Jigane: Beautifully forged jigane of fine ko-itame mixed with small mokume, with areas showing masame.
Hamon: Nie-deki with a mix of straight and wavy hamon.

Features: This Aoe blade dates to the Nanbokucho period.
It features a notably large boshi and a shinogiji that reflects stylistic elements from both the Nanbokucho and Kamakura periods.

Tsuba: Shakudo nanako tachi-style tsuba with engraved flower motifs and gold inlay.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo nanako ground with engraved flower motifs and gold inlay.
Saya (Scabbard): Black lacquered saya with carved pattern.
Menuki: Engraved radish motif with gold inlay.
Kozuka: Shakudo nanako ground with high-relief carving of a dragon.
