We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
This work is ranked as Jyojyo Saku among the works attributed to Uda Tomotsugu.
Habaki: Double-layered plain copper habaki with kiri-mon crest.

Shape:A solid and well-proportioned blade with considerable curvature, featuring bohi (grooves) carved on both sides extending into the tang.
Jigane:Finely forged ko-itame hada with visible utsuri.
Era: Nanbokucho period, Eitoku era (1381 AD)
Hamon:A suguha hamon that is bright and clear, forming a double-line temper with ko-ashi, and a round-returning boshi.
Features: The Uda Tomotsugu school spanned from the late Nanbokucho to the late Muromachi period.
This blade features deep curvature, and the bohi runs deeply into the tang.
Aoi Art’s Comment: At first glance, the blade gives a strong impression of antiquity.
The jigane is dark-toned and excellently crafted.
