Shape: Wide blade with slightly thick kasane and deeper curvature. An unsigned blade with healthy form.
Jigane: Gunome-midare with small ashi. The boshi is long and active, with visible utsuri.
Hamon: Made in nioi-deki with gunome-midare. Kinsuji appears within the blade, and the boshi shows a fine midare-komi.
Features: There are several smiths known by the name Kanenaga. This blade is attributed to Kanenaga of Mino (Seki) and has passed the Tokubetsu Hozon Token designation.
Aoi Art’s Comment: This sword has a strong mihaba, one mekugi hole, and is in healthy condition. Its deep curvature and extended kissaki contribute to its excellent shape.
