Features:
The Dōtanuki were a school of swordsmiths active in Kikuchi, Kumamoto. They flourished under the patronage of Katō Kiyomasa but are said to have ceased their craft with the decline of the Katō family.
They are known for a style that emphasizes practicality and rugged strength—qualities favored by Kiyomasa himself.
