Shape: wide blade with deep curvature.
Jigane: Ko-itame hada with Chikei.
Hamon: Nie deki Hitatsura style, pointed Gunome midare with Sunagashi, Kinsuji and Tobiyaki.
Features: Shimada Yoshisuke was a swordsmith of Suruga province, strongly influenced by the Soshu tradition, and is a highly regarded smith.
The hamon is vivid and clear, and the hira-zukuri form is superbly executed.
