We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
This work is ranked as Jyo Saku among the works of Musashi ju Fujiwara Kuniyasu.

Curvature: 0.0 cm (0.00 in)
Mekugi Hole: 1
Width at Base (Motohaba): 2.24 cm (0.88 in)
Thickness of rim (Kasane): 0.89 cm (0.35 in)
Era: Edo period, around the Jōkyō era (1684–1688)
Shape: A well-balanced Jumonji Yari with slightly broad width and elegant shape.
Jigane: Ko-itame hada, well-forged with fine steel quality.
Hamon: Nie-deki in suguha style, giving a soft and calm impression.
Features: Though the signature reads “Musashi ju Fujiwara Kuni…(illegible)”, the NBTHK has attributed this work to Musashi ju Fujiwara Kuniyasu.
He was a swordsmith residing in Edo and the son of Dewa no Kami.
Creating a Jumonji Yari is technically demanding, and polishing it adds further difficulty.
This piece has been properly polished and remains in healthy condition.
