Curvature: 1.51 cm (0.59 in).
Mekugi Hole: 1.
Width at Base (Motohaba): 3.00 cm (1.18 in).
Width at Tip (Sakihaba): 2.05 cm (0.81 in).
Thickness of rim (Kasane): 0.65 cm (0.26 in).
Sword Weight: 715 g.
Era: Edo period, around Manji era, 1658.
Shape: The blade has a slightly wide body, thick kasane, and deep curvature.
The kissaki is extended.
Jigane: A bo-hi is carved on the omote, and a futasuji-hi is carved on the ura.
Hamon: Nie-deki, gunome-midare with a soft, rounded outline.
Ashi enter deeply, and the boshi turns back in a round shape.

Features: Originally from Awa (Tokushima) province, later moved to Horikawa in Yamashiro and took the name Nimura Gisamemon.
His first name was Hirotsugu, later becoming Mutsu no Kami Fujiwara Toshinaga.
Especially noted for excellent jigane and a hamon of soft, rounded gunome in nioiguchi.
