Shape: Suriage with machi-okuri, slightly wide mihaba, thick kasane, deep curvature, and broad kissaki.
Jigane: Small ko-itame hada, well forged, visible grain, becoming a beautiful jigane.
Hamon: Well-aligned gunome-midare on both sides, becoming larger in midsection, with active activities inside the ha.
Features: Hirotsugu lived in Soshu, with works from Meiō to Eishō eras. The jihada shows the flowing pattern typical of Soshu works, beautifully done.
