We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
This work is ranked as Jyojyo Saku among collaborative works by Minamoto Moriyoshi and Yoshitsugu.

Shape: A robust and well-proportioned long blade with wide mihaba, thick kasane, and extended kissaki.
Jigane: Dense ko-itame hada, forming a refined and high-quality steel surface.
Hamon: Nie-deki gunome-midare with a deeply defined nioiguchi.
Inside the blade, sunagashi and kinsuji are vividly active, with the boshi forming an irregular midarekomi pattern.

Features: Minamoto Moriyoshi was born in 1920 (Taisho 9) in Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture.
In 1934 (Showa 9), he became a disciple of Kongobei Moritaka Yasuhiro, and later studied under Enju Taro Nobushige.
He received the name “Minamoto Moriyoshi,” and in 1941 (Showa 16), was granted the name “Enju Nobutsugu.”
He participated continuously from the first exhibition review and won numerous awards, including the Commissioner of the Agency for Cultural Affairs Award, the Mainichi Newspaper Award, the Kunzan Award, and the Kanzan Award.
In 1985, he was designated as a Mukansa (Non-subject-to-review swordsmith).
He left many powerful works in the Soshu tradition.
He passed away in 1990 (Heisei 2) at the age of 70.
He is particularly known for his mastery of the Soshu-den style, leaving behind many works in the style of Kiyomaro, and is recognized as a master swordsmith.
