Shape: Deeply curved with a slightly extended kissaki. Faint utsuri appears.
Jigane: Blackish itame hada, showing clear grains with nie and kinsuji. The boshi is midare-komi.
Hamon: Nioi-deki with suguha, featuring well-activated ko-ashi.
Features: Although unsigned, this piece shows a lot of midare-komi and has a blackish hue with well-forged itame hada, suggesting it was made by a swordsmith from the Uda school.
Koshirae:
Tsuba: Mokko-shaped iron tsuba with intricate carving, decorated with gold inlay in the Nanban style.
Fuchi: Shakudo nanako-ji with fans and scroll motifs in gold inlay.
Kashira: Horn
Saya (Scabbard): Black lacquered finish
Menuki: Engraved design of a sake flask (choji) and flowers, with gold inlay.
