Habaki: Gold foiled single habaki with the family crest.

Width at the Hamachi: 3、35cm or 1.31 inches.
Thickness: 0.63cm or 0.24 inches.
The weight of the sword 1015 grams.

Era : End of Edo period. 1864
Shape: Large, wide, thick Naginata.
Jigane: Ko-Itame-Hada well grained Jinie attached beautiful Jigane.
Hamon: Nideki deep Nioikuchi Gunome-Midare Ko-Ashi worked.

Special feature: Very big Naginata with Ububa. The weight also 1015 gram. This sword smith is the son of Musasi Taro Yasukuni and he worked around Hachiouji area. His father was one of famous Shitahara style sword smith, and also famous because his sword was used in movie “Dai-Bosatsu Toge”

Koshirae :
Tsuba: Brass plate.
Saya: Red and black color with Karakusa pattern.

From Aoi Art: This is good shape Naginata with Ububa and also Ubu Nakago. The Habaki was the old copper plate but now it was painted by gold and engraved family crest.
