Explanation: Teishitsu Gigeiin Sugawara Kanenori made this Katana at the age of 86.
On December lucky day, 1915, Taisho coronation Tachi’s Kageuchi. This blade is Egawa family’s　heirloom.

saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : silver single hanaki.
Blade length : 69.6cm or 27.40 inches.
Sori :1.3cm or 0.51 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi :2.86 cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.07cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane : 0.78cm or 0.30 inches.
The weight of the sword 595 grams.
Era : Taisho era(1915)
Shape : Rather wide and thick Katana with moderate Sori, longer Kissaki.
There are Bo-Hi on both side of the blade.
Jigane : Ko Itame hada with Masame Hada. There are some O-Hada. The Ububa remains.
There is a Fukure about 7cm from the Habaki.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Sugua Hamon with thick Nioikuchi. There are some soft Ashi.
Boshi is Togari and round Notare style.

Special feature: This blade was made by Sugawara Kanenori at age of 86.
This blade is Kageuchi when making a coronation Tachi.
This Katana is a heirloom of the Egawa famil.y.
