Ko-ashi appear frequently throughout, accompanied by sunagashi. <\/p>\n<p>Features: Yamashiro no Kami Fujiwara Kunikane was a swordsmith active in Mutsu Province during the Edo period and is also known as Sendai Kunikane. The Kunikane school is renowned for its beautifully forged, uniform masame-hada, with the first and second generations particularly highly regarded as master swordsmiths.<br \/>\nThe first-generation Kunikane was employed by Date Masamune the lord of Sendai clan.
