It retains its original cutting edge and is in excellent healthy condition.<br \/>\nJigane: Well-forged, tightly compact ko-itame hada producing a fine and refined jigane.<br \/>\nHamon: Nie-deki gunome-midare. The boshi returns in a small rounded (komaru) form.<\/p>\n<p>Features: Kozaemon Yukihira, whose real name is Miyairi Kei, was born in Nagano Prefecture in 1957. He inherited the names of both his great-grandfather and father, adopting the name Kozaemon Yukihira in 1996. In 2000, he was recognized as a Mukansa swordsmith, the highest distinction for contemporary Japanese swordsmiths. This is a robust and healthy sun-nobi tant\u014d-style wakizashi. While inheriting the exceptional craftsmanship of his father, the Living National Treasure Miyairi Yukihira, he pursued a refined style characterized by a beautifully transparent jigane and a graceful hamon.
