\nHabaki: Double habaki with gold iroe.
\nBlade Length: 46.4 cm (18.27 in).
\nCurvature: 1.0 cm (0.39 in).
\nMekugi Hole: 2.
\nWidth at Base (Motohaba): 2.89 cm (1.14 in).
\nWidth at Yokote: 2.12 cm (0.83 in).
\nThickness of rim (Kasane): 0.67 cm (0.26 in).
\nSword Weight: 500 g.
\nEra: Late Muromachi period.
\nShape: A robust wakizashi with relatively deep curvature.
\nJigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada with a prominent grain pattern.
\nHamon: Nie-deki suguha. The boshi is slightly elongated and enters midare.<\/p>\n

Features: Although the signature has been partially lost due to suriage, the remaining inscription “N\u014dsh\u016b” indicates that this is a Seki blade. It has the appearance of an excellent cutting sword. While there are some minor flaws and imperfections, it is a solid wakizashi that clearly exhibits the characteristic workmanship of the Seki tradition.<\/p>\n

\nTsuba: Round iron tsuba carved with an eggplant motif and decorated with gold iroe.
\nFuchikashira: Carved with a festival scene and decorated with gold iroe.
\nSaya (Scabbard): Black lacquered saya.
\nMenuki: Figure seen from the back, decorated with gold iroe.
\nKozuka: Shibuichi kozuka carved with flowers and a crescent moon, decorated with gold iroe (there is a dent on the reverse side). Comes with kogatana.<\/p>\n
