Features: The Mihara school traces its origins to the Kamakura period. Its earliest works are known as Ko-Mihara, those produced during the Muromachi period are referred to as Mihara, and works from the late Muromachi period are classified as Sue-Mihara. This blade displays the characteristic jigane of the Sue-Mihara school, with clearly visible grain.<\/p>\n

Tsuba: Plain copper tsuba with a nanako ground and engraved decorative patterns.
\nFuchikashira: Shibuichi fittings carved with a tiger motif.
