It remains in excellent condition with its original cutting edge intact.<br \/>\nJigane: Ko-mokume mixed with ko-itame, producing a refined jigane with a soft and elegant appearance.<br \/>\nHamon: Nie-deki suguha with fine ko-ashi. The boshi turns back in a rounded form.<\/p>\n<p>Aoi Art\u2019s Comment: Tsugaru J\u016bnin Kunitoshi, also known as Nit\u014d Kunitoshi, was a swordsmith from Aomori Prefecture. He received numerous awards and attained the prestigious status of Mukansa Swordsmith. He also forged presentation swords dedicated to Ise Grand Shrine and Meiji Shrine, and is regarded as one of the finest swordsmiths ever produced by Aomori Prefecture.
