Features:
\n Dewa Daijo Fujiwara Kunimichi was one of the most renowned swordsmiths among the students of Horikawa Kunihiro. He was born around Tensho 4 (1576) and, having lived a long life, produced a large number of swords. It is believed that he received the honorary title “Dewa Daijo” sometime between Keicho 19 and 20 (1614-1615).<\/p>\n

His boshi often displays a distinctive pattern known as “Mishina Boshi,” in which the hamon in the kissaki becomes notare and turns back. This suggests that he likely had connections with the Mishina school.<\/p>\n

Overall, some surface wear and scuffing can be seen.<\/p>\n
