\nThickness of rim (Kasane): 0.96 cm (0.38 in).

\nEra: Mid to late Muromachi period.
\nShape: A rather short tanto with exceptionally thick kasane and a mitsumune (three-sided ridge) construction.

Features: Although this blade bears the signature Rai Kunimitsu, we consider the signature to be gimei (false signature). This tanto is an yoroi-doshi, characterized by its exceptionally thick kasane and robust construction.<\/p>\n
