Features: Akimoto Ikkansai Minamoto Akitomo was born on March 31, 1910. He studied under Kurihara Hikozaburo and Kasama Shigetsugu and was appointed as a Rikugun Jumei Tosho (Army-appointed swordsmith). He received awards in the Army Sword Encouragement Association competitions, including the Excellence Award, and was recognized as one of the accomplished swordsmiths of the Showa period.<\/p>\n
