\nThis blade is ranked as Jyo Saku among the works of Noshu Ju Kane… (signature partially cut off) (Sue-Seki).
\nHabaki: Double silver-foiled habaki (with some loss of the silver foil).
\nBlade Length: 74.5 cm (29.33 in).
\nCurvature: 1.5 cm (0.59 in).
\nMekugi Hole: 2.
\nWidth at Base (Motohaba): 2.92 cm (1.15 in).
\nWidth at Yokote: 1.93 cm (0.76 in).
\nThickness of rim (Kasane): 0.66 cm (0.26 in).
\nSword Weight: 715 g.
\nEra: Mid to late Muromachi period.
\nShape: Suriage blade with the signature “Noshu Ju Kane…” remaining, while the rest of the inscription has been lost.
\nJigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada.
\nHamon: Nie-deki with nijuba, pointed gunome, and a boshi that becomes irregular before returning in a rounded form.<\/p>\n

Features: Based on the characteristics of the jigane and hamon, this blade is considered to be the work of a Sue-Seki swordsmith from the mid to late Muromachi period. The hamon displays the pointed midare typical of Seki workmanship.<\/p>\n

Koshirae: Han-tachi koshirae.
\nTsuba: Round iron tsuba carved with a Mitsudomoe motif.
\nFuchikashira: Kojiri: Decorated with scrolling arabesque patterns.
\nSaya (Scabbard): Decorative textured lacquer finish.
\nMenuki: Chrysanthemum motif in shakudo with gold iroe.
\nKozuka: Kikusui (floating chrysanthemum) motif with gold iroe.
