\nShape: A robust wakizashi with substantial mihaba and thick kasane. It has an elongated kissaki and bohi carved in the style often seen on naginata. The blade has deep curvature and a powerful overall appearance.
\nJigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada with a smooth, almost mujihada-like surface.
\nHamon: Nie-deki gunome-midare resembling the crashing waves of a rough sea. The boshi continues in a midare pattern before returning, with the temper extending into the shinogi-ji.<\/p>\n

Features: The NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certificate identifies this blade simply as “Province Unknown, Shinto.” It is a robust and healthy example displaying excellent workmanship.<\/p>\n
