It has a substantial mihaba and thick kasane, giving it a robust appearance, with a broad kissaki.<br \/>\nJigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada with a beautiful and refined steel surface.<br \/>\nHamon: A bold and vigorous hamon with angular elements. The boshi undulates before returning in a rounded form. It displays a distinctive tempering style.<\/p>\n<p>Features: The hamon on both sides of the blade correspond to one another, producing a style reminiscent of Muramasa. The blade clearly exhibits the characteristic shape of Keicho Shinto swords while also showing the distinctive workmanship of the Mino tradition.<\/p>\n<p>The Keicho era (1596\u20131615), following the Muromachi period, was an exceptionally turbulent time spanning the end of the Azuchi-Momoyama period and the beginning of the Edo period.
