Features: Tatsufusa is a school of swordsmiths from Bingo Province that traced its lineage to Shigemitsu of early Muromachi period. Members of this school characteristically used the character \u201cShige\u201d (\u91cd) in their signatures, but relatively few of their works are known today. This blade is a fine example of a hitatsura (full temper) work and is also of considerable historical importance, as it bears the date of the Eikyo 10 (1438), making it a valuable reference piece.<\/p>\n
